Gift Preekamol Chantaranijakorn – the founder of the Ma:D, the co-working space in Bangkok, where future entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs can share their ideas, knowledge, passion and experience.
Q1: What do you appreciate yourself in the business mainly for?
For taking the initiative, despite the fact that a lot of people warned me that it would not work, that I would not manage to realize my idea, to provide money for supporting my family.
Q2: What is the biggest challenge/ obstacle for you now?
To ensure the financial stability of our co-working space. At the moment, we are able to earn enough money to pay for space and salaries of 6 employees, however, we have no assurance that it will be like that in the future. We need greater stability in a long term perspective and capital put aside in case of hard times or more investments.
Q3: What advice do you have for yourself in this situation?
Not to give up. To move forward, even in small steps. The determination, passion and ability to involve other people are the most important.
The questions were asked on our behalf by Anna and Andrea from How to (ex) change the world.
