Wan Noriah– founder of Min House Camp – an agriculture center with lodging, organic food and many activities for kids, youth and adults fe. kayaking, honey making, traditional archery.
Q1: What do you appreciate yourself in the business mainly for?
Doing things together. We work as a community. We welcome everybody here, our friends, Europeans, people from all over the world are welcomed. Before I worked for the government, for 26 years. Every day going to work in the morning and coming back at 5pm. No satisfaction. Now, retired and working on the Min Camp House I feel this is the right career for me. I like it, nature, fresh environment, no pollution. This is my place.
Q2: What is the biggest challenge for you now?
No big challenge. If we love our job, if it’s our hobby, there is no big challenge. Friends come, neighbors come, we give them job, money, we can support the community. They are happy, we are happy. Easy, the work is actually very easy.
Q3: What advice do you have for yourself in this situation?
We want our neighbor, our friends, our community to join us. We need more and more people involved, we need to do things together. But there is no need to encourage them, they see themselves how it’s working and with time they are coming. We are happy, we work with love, we do organic farming, we care about people.
